New Honorary Patron

His Excellency Lieutenant General Seretse Khama Ian Khama, the President of the Republic of Botswana, has honoured Peace Parks Foundation by agreeing to become an honorary patron of the Foundation. Botswana is partner to Africa’s first peace park, the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, as well as the Limpopo/Shashe TFCA and the Kavango Zambezi TFCA, set to become the world’s largest conservation area.

The Foundation has nine more honorary patrons, namely President Jose Eduardo dos Santos (Angola), President Armando Emilio Guebuza (Mozambique), His Majesty King Letsie III (Lesotho), President Thabo Mbeki (South Africa), His Majesty King Mswati III (Swaziland), President Robert Mugabe (Zimbabwe), President Levy Mwanawasa (Zambia), President Hifikepunye Pohamba (Namibia) and President Dr Bingu wa Mutharika (Malawi).
