President Pohamba an Honorary Patron

His Excellency Hifikepunye Pohamba, the President of the Republic of Namibia, has honoured Peace Parks Foundation by agreeing to become an honorary patron of the Foundation. Namibia is partner to the /Ai /Ais-Richtersveld Transfrontier Park, the Iona/Skeleton Coast TFCA and the Kavango Zambezi TFCA. It will soon also become a partner to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park when the port of entry at Mata Mata is opened.

The Foundation has nine more honorary patrons, namely President Jose Eduardo dos Santos (Angola), President Armando Emilio Guebuza (Mozambique), His Majesty King Letsie III (Lesotho), President Thabo Mbeki (South Africa), President Festus Mogae (Botswana), His Majesty King Mswati III (Swaziland), President Robert Mugabe (Zimbabwe), President Levy Mwanawasa (Zambia) and President Dr Bingu wa Mutharika (Malawi).
