The Society For Conservation GIS Scholarship

The Society for Conservation GIS (SGIS) Global Scholarship Programme is a support programme that is offering to cover SOME of the costs to allow you attend two of the best conservation GIS conferences in the world, Esri and SCGIS, and join a very tight-knit community in specialised training courses before these conferences.

This year the application process has moved up by a month so please note the early deadline of 7 February 2016. Kindly also note the eligibility and obligations sections in the application form.

The Society for Conservation GIS (SCGIS) is offering a scholarship to attend the following in California:

  • Specialized GIS training (30 May – 22 June 2016 at Blue Oak Ranch Reserve [dates tentative])
  • The SCGIS Annual Conference (23 – 26 June 2016 in Monterey)
  • The ESRI International User Conference (27 June – 01 July 2016 in San Diego)
