The SMART (Spatial Monitoring and Reporting Tool) Partnership has been selected as a finalist in the Wildlife Crime Tech Challenge!

SMART is a unique example of a global conservation NGO partnership of eight organizations that include Peace Parks Foundation, Wildlife Conservation Society, CITES-Monitoring Illegal Killing of Elephants (MIKE), Frankfurt Zoological Society, North Carolina Zoological Park, Panthera, World Wildlife Fund, and Zoological Society of London. This project will build on the existing, well-established SMART Desktop foundation with a successful user base of over 140 sites across 30 countries
This week, the Challenge launched a separate People’s Choice Award competition which asks the public to vote on which finalist idea is the most innovative and could have the largest impact in combating wildlife crime.
Your vote could help SMART win the People’s Choice Award, highlight the importance of its work to a broad audience, and give SMART the opportunity to compete for the $500 000 Grand Prize to scale its solution.
VOTE HERE NOW Voting closes 16 November 2015
