Training Colleges
In order to support the sustainability of the parks, Peace Parks Foundation, in partnership with the Southern African Wildlife College near Hoedspruit and the SA College for Tourism in Graaff-Reinet, is training wildlife managers and field guides in the effective management of conservation areas, and training people in the hospitality skills necessary to obtain employment at the guesthouses, lodges and other small accommodation facilities in and around the peace parks, as well as in the age-old skill of wildlife tracking.
