The establishment and development of peace parks is a dynamic, exciting and multi-faceted approach to jointly manage natural resources across political boundaries. The establishment of peace parks is by its very nature a process led by governments, supported by organisations such as Peace Parks Foundation.
Peace parks are about co-existence between humans and nature and about partnerships between the public and private sectors. Peace parks are about promoting regional peace and stability, conserving biodiversity and stimulating job creation by developing nature conservation as a land-use option.
Following is a list of questions often posed to the Foundation. The answers therefore relate specifically to Peace Parks Foundationís role in the process, which should by no means be interpreted as a negation of the role of other players.
